The Himalayas offer you a whole list of smaller peaks that are open for climbing, too. In Nepal, these mountains are listed as 'trekking peaks'. Despite their name and lower alitude (maximum 7000m), it does not mean that trekking peaks are easy to climb! The trekking peak's difficulty vary from easy snow climbs to the hardest rock and ice climbs in stunning mountain area's. So, don't think that you can always 'trek or walk' to the summit. Trekking peaks require a climbing permit of which the price varies per category A or B.
Mountain Consult offers you professional support for any trekking peak, no matter if it's a fixed departure or your own private and tailor made program. Here's a small list of popular trekking peaks in the Himalayas of Nepal and Tibet. The trekking peaks that have no 'link' are not described on the website, yet. However, if you're interested in one of those trekking peaks, please contact us.
